The history of Faith Baptist Church (located in the Sheridan/Wheatland area of California) is a story of faithful obedience, prayer, and God’s providential leading.

In 2013, a small group of families meeting in a storefront in downtown Wheatland, convinced that God desired a church to serve the local community. To sustain the work and keep the doors open, they reached out to Pastor Marshall Stevens of Calvary Baptist Church in American Canyon. He graciously agreed to serve as their interim pastor, leading afternoon Sunday services for two and a half years.

In November 2015, following God’s clear direction, Pastor Brandon Campbell stepped in as the church’s full-time pastor. Under his leadership, the congregation—Faith Baptist Church—continued to grow in faith and ministry.

After years of earnest prayer for a permanent home, God miraculously provided the current property in Sheridan in 2025. This milestone marked a significant step forward for the church as an independent Baptist congregation committed to biblical values and reaching the surrounding area.

Today, Faith Baptist Church continues to worship, serve, and proclaim the Gospel in its community, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness from those early storefront days to the present.
